California Communities: A Unique Asset to Local Government
For the past 20 years, the California Statewide Communities Development Authority (California Communities) has helped local government build community infrastructure, provide affordable housing, create jobs, and help provide access to quality health care and education.
Today, 474 cities, counties and special districts have been program participants to California Communities, which serves as their conduit issuer and provides access to an efficient mechanism to finance locally approved projects. Since its inception, California Communities has funded more than $9 billion for nearly 1,300 local agency participants.
